MTV MOVIE AWARDS RECAP

The MTV MOVIE AWARDS aired last night and i must admit, it was FUCKIN hilarious! Leg Grossman and Jennifer Lopez were the first performance for the show and I personally think he out-danced her. Katie Perry and Christina Aguilera were the shows musical guessed and the sucked but besides that it was an amazing show. we got to to see first peeks at the new jersey shore AND the TWILIGHT SAGA:ECLIPSE!!!! New moon of course dominated the winners list (big surprise right). The hangover stars came in second in the winners circle and had an hilarious skit on the show. Host Aziz Ansari, in my opinion, should host every award show on T.V. He did an amzing job. Sandra Bullock was honered and I agree with her when she says "can we just get back to normal." Kudos to her for getting over her ex-husband, so we should get over it to. Highlights includes the funny kiss-cam (was it just me or did zac not want to kiss vanessa) all of the FUCKIN F-bombs, the "Swagger Coach" and Kristen Stewart for almost busting hr ass lol. Best dress goest to Katy Perry, worst dress goes to Cameron Diaz. R&B Singer Chilli is featured in this month’s issue of MY FAVORITE Sister 2 Sister Magazine. Inside she speaks on Pre-nups, holding out on sex while dating and her son Tron. Here are a few excerpts:


CHILLI ON PRENUPS

I have to be with somebody who is definitely down with a pre-nup. I don’t care how much money you have or don’t have; pre-nups are not for wealthy people, they’re for everybody. I’m telling you, it’s like insurance: you hope you don’t need it. Now, if you never have a divorce, you never have to deal with that. But if you do, when people go through divorces, unfortunately, it brings out the ugly in everybody… And then you want to go and suck somebody dry, whether it’s a big bank account or small.

CHILLI ON HOLDING OUT

When you date a person, the whole point of dating is to get to know that person. You getting to know each other is not having sex. [laughs] because when you do that it brings on too much unnecessary stuff that shouldn’t be there yet. You don’t even know this person. If you give yourself some time to know how you guys interact on a friendship level, 9 times out of 10, you will find that you don’t even want to be with that person and they don’t want to be with you. When you have sex early, especially for a woman, it causes you to cling and you think you like this person. No, you really don’t like him; it’s just that you slept with him.

I was 26 when I had Tron. I was a grown woman and everybody in my family was happy for me because I wanted a baby. I definitely think people should wait until they are married to have kids. And make sure it’s a healthy relationship because the best thing you can give your kids is a healthy relationship between their mom and dad. But if it’s not healthy, don’t do it cause your not doing them any good by staying together for the sake of the kids.

Hate to say it but Chilli has good advice on relationships & dating. Pre-nups is a must in this day and age. I wish someone would walk away with everything I worked so hard to get…

As we all know this years 2010 VH1 Hip Hop Honors was a celebration of “The Dirty South” last night with tributes to Master P, Rap-A-Lot Records, So So Def, Texas, Miami & Atlanta. JD brought out Bow Wow, Dem Franchize Boys & Diddy for a set that included “Welcome To Atlanta” & “Jump”. Bow Wow wore his pants backwards in honor of Kriss Kross,the first group signed to So So Def
The Game, Bun B, Drake, Willie D and Juvenile performed a tribute to Rap-A-Lot Records while Romeo, Trina, Silk The Shocker and Mystical hit the stage for a Master P Tribute. Keri Hilson, Nelly, Fabolous, Gucci Mane, Rick Ross, Trina and Missy Elliot also performed.
The show will air this coming Monday June 7th @ 9pm.
